Hello and welcome to Grounded’s first enews! We have had an incredible first 12 weeks with some big wins we want to share with you at our launch event:

Last Friday was grand final day for housing economists as the National Accounts revealed another year where land prices grew beyond belief, with national land prices increasing by $994 BILLION to June ’22. Based on past averages, this was double our expectation. But no news media picked it up?!!
Consider how much housing we could fund if just some of this increase was channelled towards CLTs? That’s the sort of advocacy work we will be engaging in as we push the need of CLTs as a vital housing model in between renting and buying.
